Experience a highly interactive, skill-based tuning minigame with real consequences for bad mechanics.
- 🔌 Immersive Diagnostics Prop: Players use a custom ECU tablet (or laptop) inside the car or standing next to it. Tuning from outside features a physical OBD cable that ropes the tablet directly to the car.
- 🎮 4-Stage Tuning Suite: A custom NUI built to look like a hardened workshop tool. Master the process: Bus Sync (catch the sync window), Read (dump the ECU), Dyno Mapping (set AFR, ignition, and boost), and Flash (maintain programming voltage).
- 💥 Risk vs Reward Mechanics: Every engine has a hidden octane headroom rolled per session. Push past the limit on the dyno, and you'll trigger knock events causing real engine health damage.
- 📊 Live Bench Testing: After a tune, run a full physical actuator test. The script automatically cycles the indicators, high beams, horn, windows, and runs a free-rev sweep before printing a full performance report.
- 🌐 Universal Compatibility: Auto-detects ESX, QBCore, or Standalone. Fully supports ox_inventory, qb-inventory, and ESX out of the box. Works with base GTA cars and custom Add-on vehicles.
⚠️ Dynamic Result System
The server rules on the outcome of the mechanic's flash, resulting in three distinct vehicle states that replicate to all players via Statebags:
✅ Success: Tuned
Achieved via a clean final pull and a healthy flash. The vehicle gains full power benefits based on the map quality you safely discovered.
⚠️ Warning: Unstable
You locked in a map that was still knocking. The car gets power gains, but suffers from random misfires, torque cuts, exhaust backfires, and creeping engine damage.
❌ Failure: Corrupted ECU
Caused by low flash integrity or yanking the cable. Triggers Limp Mode (-25% power) and severe electrical gremlins: headlights flashing, windows moving alone, random horns, engine stalls, and dashboard warnings.
